Synopsis for "Five Characters in Search of a Plot!"
Merryman, leader of The Inferior Five, has his life turned upside down by an unexpected visit from his ex-superhero grandfather, Yellow Jacket(a Green Hornet spoof),who still drives his original car(which gets tickets for overtime parking while in motion).
Yellow Jacket insists on declaring himself part of the team's next mission. Luckily, the villains are just as peculiarly inept as The Inferiors are.
One of them, The Missing Fink, can be invisible---but his hay fever keeps giving him away. Powerhouse has super strength but is too lazy to fight. Blackbird can fly but gets airsick easily. Crabgrass Wilde, escape artist, picks the lock of his cell immediately after capture. The Yellow Streak has super speed but uses it mostly to run away from fights.(White Feather is amazed to find somebody even more of a coward than he is).
After the usual brawl, Merryman returns to his job drawing the hit cartoon strip WONDERFELLA; and Dumb Bunny ends up with a choice magazine centerfold job.
