Synopsis for "Luthor's Monsters (Part I)"

Former Everyman Project subjects across the country begin to experience major physical and psychological problems following their ordeal. Natasha Ironshas begun to suffer from horrible dreams and has sought therapy to help with her problems. In an attempt to help her, John Henry Irons begins to seek out Natasha's former teammates from Infinity, Inc., the superhero team created by Lex Luthor from Everyman Project subjects. It is revealed that Gerome McKenna has become a pathological narcissist, spending all day in front of a mirror. One day during a therapy session, the doctor is shocked to find that Gerome has manifested a duplicate. Meanwhile, John Henry goes to visit Erik Storn to see if he is suffering from similar problems and learns that Erik has developed a stutter. Elsewhere, another Everyman Project subject, Dale Smith, has manifested malevolent new powers and attacked his therapist and family. When John Henry returns to Natasha, they fight about him interfering and Natasha suddenly begins to turn into a gaseous state. With John Henry screaming, she seemingly dissipates, disappearing.
