Synopsis for "Planet of the Humans"

Four graduates of the Academy of Higher Conscience leave New Genesis for Earth. Himon sees them off, marvelling at how Vykin's touch repaired the disabled Mother Box.

The Boom Tube drops them roughly at Venice Beach where they are met by Big Bear. California seems a backwards place to the Forever People and they are glad to find Big Bear's apartment furnished in the style of the New Gods, thanks to the A.I. 'Kirby'.

Across the world in the Sudan, there is a miraculous garden -- the Feast of Eden -- where Parademons attack and capture the last of the human workers. Mantis now rules Eden.

Notes

  • Not only is the name of the A.I. an homage to Jack 'King' Kirby; but the issue is drawn in the style of Kirby.

Trivia
