The Injustice universe, or Earth 49 (in the New 52 Multiverse), referred to as Earth Twenty-Two in the non-canon movie adaptation, is the reality in which the events of the Injustice: Gods Among Us tie-in comic and video game occur, and the reality that various members of a Justice League from another world are sent to in order to aid this world's Batman against its Superman and his Regime.
History

After the Joker tricks him into killing Lois Lane, his unborn child, and destroying Metropolis with a nuclear bomb, Superman kills Joker, and becomes a tyrant and establishes a new world order, while Batman forms an insurgency against him.
