Inque is a metahuman with shapeshifting abilities and a mercenary from the future, who gained her powers from a mutagenic treatment by Project Cadmus. She was eventually hired by the Wayne-Powers CEO; Derek Powers to kill Bruce Wayne and the new Batman. She is also a member of the Iniquity Collective and the estranged mother of Deanna Clay.
Inque was created by Robert Goodman, first appearing in the Batman Beyond episode, "Black Out" (1999).
