Ivar Torgson is a rubber baron who used his girlfriend Elva Dove to spy on Military Intelligence and tried to hide his business practices from the government.

History

Ivar and his associates Cornelius R. Quod, Larry Hefton, Sigmund Spoil, and Skelly conspired to hide rubber industry practices from the United States Government and came into conflict with Wonder Woman. While the group's endangerment of the war effort initially drew her attention Cornelius' abuse towards his girlfriend was of particular concern to the Amazon, who brought the couple to Paradise Island to have the scientists there help convince Elva that his feelings for her were like those towards a possession rather than love.
