Synopsis for "The Day Before"
Captain Marvel is called to the Rock of Eternity by the Wizard Shazam because he sensed that something is wrong but could not pinpoint the exact problem. However, he instructs William Batson to tell the Justice League of America and the Justice Society of America to prepare. Suddenly, the Wizard simply collapsed. Captain Marvel, after helping the Wizard in his chair, left to assemble the JLA and JSA to prepare for possible problem. As Captain Marvel leaves, the statues of the Seven Deadly Sins' heads faced the Wizard. Suddenly the Wizard sees his foe from behind and tries to shield himself but failed.
In the Tower of Fate, Doctor Fate is studying magic guided by the Helmet of Fate and entertains Zatanna, who was checking out Zatara's biography from Fate's library. As Zatanna left the Tower, Doctor Fate suddenly felt a shiver shooting up his spine at the same time the Wizard collapsed at the Rock of Eternity.
Bruce Wayne invited Mr. Terrific to the Batcave since he has installed Mr. Terrific's cyber-ware that is designed to upgrade the Batcave's communication systems. However, Mr. Terrific also wanted talked to Batman, whom he sees as someone he can relate to.
The Flashes Jay Garrick and Wally West watches hockey at Keystone City with Plastic Man and Hourman, who unfortunately spoiled the outcome of the game due to his flash-forward powers.
At the JSA Headquarters, Atom examines the cell structure of Green Lantern Alan Scott and hypothesizes that Alan is now composed of the Green Flame that is making him virtually immortal and one of the most powerful beings on the planet. His findings were agreed to by Doctor Mid-Nite.
During a battle between Superman and Bizarro, Power Girl, Wonder Woman and Stargirl were discussing about relationships and Superman.

Synopsis for "Stormchasers"
A flash flood in Ohio prompts the response of Red Tornado, Flash (Jay Garrick), and Superman. Superman and Flash have both come in hoping to recruit Red Tornado for the JLA or the JSA, respectively. But Red Tornado declines and explains that he is content in his role as Young Justice's mentor, offering them the guidance that the JLA and JSA once offered him.

Synopsis for "The Ghost of Stagg Manor"
Simon Stagg was being haunted apparently by the ghost of Metamorpho begging Simon to open the vault in Stagg Mansion but to no avail.
During dinner, Stagg suggests to his daughter Sapphire about leaving Stagg Mansion but was interrupted by robbers ordering Simon to open his vault with Sapphire and Joseph Mason as hostages. Upon opening the vault, the Orb of Ra is exposed and the ghost of Metamorpho quickly went into it, restoring him. Metamorpho quickly made short work of the robbers. It was revealed that Simon Stagg's assistant Java was apparently also inside the vault in a device called the Rejavanator.

Synopsis for "Telephone"
Director Bones is on a bet with Agent Cameron Chase on whether the Department of Extranormal Operations has a mole, started a rumor regarding the Ultra-Humanite. In less than an hour, members of the JLA and JSA confronted an office of the D.E.O. Confirming Chase's suspicion that there is no mole but merely a lax in security in communications by D.E.O. agents.
