Synopsis for "Crime Machine"
Kid Flash runs in the countryside and is tripped by Epoch, the Lord of Time who attempts to kill him in a hail of bullets that are intercepted by his adult self, traveling back in time with the Justice League of America. The League and Lord fight across time with the heroes using his Chrono-Cube to chase him. The advanced technology of his suit ensures that he can keep shifting across time and that anyone who approaches him slows to a crawl before being able to reach him. In 65,000,000 B. C., Epoch encounters a soliton that enhances his suit even further and allows him to steal the power source of the Chrono-Cube before pushing the League to A. D. 33 where the League discovers it buried in limestone and briefly bump into Marcus Aelius.
When the jump start the Cube, they end up landing in the Wildstorm Universe, where the WildC.A.T.s are stopping the Seven Deadly Sins. The two hero groups meet and begin to fight due to mutual distrust before realizing that one another are on the same side. Void senses that Epoch's time travel has caused a chaotic rift that will destroy both universes unless the heroes can combine to stop it. She takes Green Lantern into voidspace to investigate and determines that Epoch's time travel has caused the existence of their diverging timelines. The entities living in voidspace allow the two teams to cross over into the DC Universe where they find that they have been gone for five days and in that time, Epoch has merged with a living computer and bomb from the 68th century known as the Omega Attractor, wreaking havoc across the globe.
The information from the computer allows him access to weapons from across several centuries which he deploys in the present day to enslave the world and trap all superheroes on the Moon. The heroes manage to break into Epoch's citadel and the villain is unprepared for the WildC.A.T.s as they are from a different universe. While they battle the Lord of Time, the JLA use the CHrono-Cube to create a sphere of localized time that is disconnected from the space-time continuum. The WildC.A.T.s return to their home universe and the vast data overload overtaking Epoch's mind causes the bomb of the Omega Attractor to explode, causing the solitron he found in 65,000,000 B. C. It was the greatest moment of his life.
