Synopsis for "Dream Team"

Superman is complaining to Batman that, since he betrayed the League's trust by keeping files on them, they have become paranoid and dysfunctional as a team. He cites the previous day, in which members who had voted differently from one another after the Tower of Babel incident had been paired together on missions. They soon discovered that the strange events they were investigating were all caused by Dr. Destiny, whose dream-self was roaming in reality whilst his normal, mortal form was trapped in the realm of dreams. This gave him unlimited power over the laws of physics. Fortunately, he didn't understand the situation, so his changes were made at random. However, he still interpreted the League as a threat, and they soon realized that he was technically unbeatable. Therefore, Martian Manhunter telepathically put his teammates to sleep, where they found Destiny's waking self, struggling with the bonds of a psychic net, which was apparently the source of his power. Wonder Woman realized that, by moving into the net, the League could project their dream-selves into reality. They did so, and soundly beat Dr. Destiny, because with the manifestation of their subconscious minds, their conscious sources of distrust faded away. Once Dr. Destiny was back in Arkham Asylum, however, their fears returned and they avoided members of opposing factions once more. Batman then interrupts to point out that Dr. Destiny's interference with reality may have caused the visible distrust in the first place. Superman declares that there was only one way to find out. Batman reluctantly agrees to his proposition, on the condition that he do the same. The League arrives at the scene of Superman's distress signal, to find themselves in the Batcave, faced with Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent, who admit to being Batman and Superman. Then, all of the others, save Aquaman and Wonder Woman, unmask. Just as they start to declare amends made, the Batmobile comes into the cave, and Batman steps out.
