Synopsis for "Terror Incognita, Part 4: Dying Breath"

After being teleported by the Phantom Zone Projector,[1] the JLA appear in the Phantom Zone, only able to watch but not intervene as the White Martians rapidly overtake the Earth.

The heroes appear in the Justice League Watchtower and bait the Martians to attack them. The aliens rapidly disable most Leaguers and the Martian Manhunter explains his strategy once it appears the Martians are winning: several JLAers are dragging the Moon into Earth's atmosphere while a string of magic users helps protect both celestial bodies from being destroyed. This allows him to light fire on the Moon, torturing the White Martians and forcing them into a gambit to be teleported into the Phantom Zone to save their lives. This, combined with deft illusions from the Manhunter and an assist from reserve member The Atom to free them gives them the upper hand but both Green and White Martians are equally susceptible to fire and J'onn risks dying to save the Earth.

At the last moment, the White Martians relent and the League narrowly saves the life of their trusted friend.
