Synopsis for "Joker: Last Laugh: Bipolar Disorder"

As part of Joker's mad attempt to remake the world,[1] a demented Doctor Polaris murders a couple in Antarctica.

In Death Valley, a makeshift camp houses several supervillains whom the JLA have caught to apply an anti-venom and cure them of the Joker Venom that has overtaken many of them. Batman realizes that magnetic lines are massively distorted and surmises it's Polaris and he's at the South Pole. Their first offensive is a disaster, as Polaris controls the metal in their bodies and suits. The Flash is briefly immune, being shielded by the Speed Force and he suggests that their only hope is Plastic Man, who has been sidelined so far, frozen.

An energy construct from Green Lantern and Superman's heat vision thaw him and he leaps into action, binding Polaris and distracting him with confounding jokes until Wonder Woman gets the opportunity to punch him out.

Batman returns to Gotham City to end the madness.
