Synopsis for "The White Rage, Part 1"

At the Safe Haven Collective in rural the United States of America, an ominous phone call leads to a social worker being intimidated to leave the compound. Meanwhile, in Wayne Manor, Bruce Wayne treats Diana of Themyscira to a dinner date.

At the Watchtower, the JLA announces that Faith, Major Disaster, and Manitou Raven are now official league members, on probationary status and invite members of the international community to meet them.

On his way back from Brazil, Flash comes across a stand-off between a joint coalition force and the Safe Haven Collective. Flash calls in the team for help. The League is welcomed into the collective by Shepherd and his wife Vela, both of whom are super-powered. They are scared that the government, who wants to send in inspectors, will contaminate their residences with diseases like they unintentionally did last time they came for an inspection. Inevitably, a fire-fight breaks out between the two, leaving the JLA stuck in the middle.

Meanwhile, in Virginia, Martian Manhunter has approached Scorch to help relieve him of his fear of fire. He offers to provide her mental healing in return.
