Synopsis for "The All-Stars"

The JSA All Star team arrive in New York to combat a paramilitary organization called the Novyj Soviet nearby the East River. This group wants to incite the Great October Soviet Revolution for the proletariat. Magog (David Reid) acts as team leader for the team. He orders the blue team which consists of Wildcat (Bronson), Damage, King Chimera, Judomaster (Sonia Sato) and Hourman (Rick Tyler) to take out the infantry. Magog then orders the red team which consists of Stargirl, Citizen Steel (Nate Heywood) and Power Girl to destroy the tanks. Magog and Cyclone would look to keeping citizens out of the crossfire. Magog discovers that the infantry is made of androids when he decapitates one of them. Power Girl figures there is no holding back since the infantry aren't human but Magog tries to maintain his strategy. Power Girl wipes out the rest of the infantry and tanks with her heat vision.

A group of reporters ambush the JSA after the fight was over but the JSA manage to avoid them by flying away. Power Girl brought one android for analysis. The team heads to upstate New York and land at the Star-K Ranch which serves as a temporary base of operations. Magog and Power Girl get into an argument about leading the team. However, they both agreed that the infantry and the tanks refrained from attacking Stargirl. The team saw a similar situation when a group of villains attacked the Brownstone district.

Rex Tyler analyzes the android and disocvers that they were being controlled by a satellite transceiver. King Chimera theorizes that this attack and the previous one are probably a means of collecting data on the team like strengths or weaknesses, Magog tells the team to rest up for training tomorrow. Stargirl excuses herself and Power Girl follows. Kara asks Courtney what's wrong. Courtney misses Alan Scott, Jay Garrick, Ted Grant and Atom Smasher. Courtney also feels this sick feeling as if someone is taunting her by not having their foot soldiers engage her because they have a dark purpose for her. Kara assures Courtney that they will stop this puppet master and encourages Courtney to toughen up because the other team members look up to her.

During the training, Bronson complains why he should train without his Wildcat powers. Magog explains that there may come a day when he can't transform and he will need to be able to fight as an average human. Damage and King Chimera get into a fight about brains versus brawn. Cyclone tries to comfort King Chimera but he brushes off her concern. The next day, Power Girl unveils the new JSA Museum at the recently destroyed Brownstone district. The news coverage is interrupted by the explosive entrance of Arthur Pemberton and his Strike Force.

Kara points out to the team that Pemberton's Strike Force has cloaking technology which is why she couldn't detect the weapons that Pemberton sneaked in. Pemberton squares off with Magog by using the Mundane Staff, an ancient artifact from Crete that can sap the strength of demigods. Kara recognizes Arthur Pemberton as Sylvester Pemberton's nephew. Kara destroys Arthur's staff but Pemberton's daughter Lorna surprises Kara from behind with a gun that can discharge neutron star matter. Pemberton takes advantage of the situation by attacking Star Girl while Cyclone repels Lorna Pemberton with a gust of wind.

Pemberton knocks out Star Girl and makes his escape. He tells the rest of his Strike Force to activate their teleporters. Lorna activates her teleporter on her belt buckle but instead she triggers an explosive device. Kara acts fast by grabbing the belt from Lorna and tries to suppress the explosion but the blast knocks Lorna off her feet. Kara comes to the conclusion that Pemberton didn't want any of his team members to be taken alive for interrogation so they blindly followed orders and unknowingly killed themselves in order to cover Pemberton. Lorna was left brain dead but she still has the lingering feeling of betrayal from her father.

At the White Star Cinema Theater, Pemberton's operative # 21 tells Johnny Sorrow that the extraction of Star Girl was successful but Pemberton gets greedy and demands 2 million dollars for the job. Sorrow tells # 21 that one can't put a price tag on love because Sorrow is in love with Star Girl. Sorrow removes his mask and # 21's eyes begin to gush with blood as he screams in horror before finally dying of fright.
