Synopsis for "The Inheritance, Part Two: Menace in Venice"

Icicle and Tigress interrogate Christoff Fazi because they figure Fazi must have told another interested party about Grunstrasse's deal. Fazi confesses that a Peter Blue who was staying at the Imperial, also wanted the book. Icicle and Tigress go to Blue's hotel room and find a lot of opened candy wrappers on his bed as well as a receipt from the airport. Tigress and Icicle try to reserve tickets for Venice but all seats are booked. Tigress tries to pass off Icicle as a member of the Blue Man Group to a couple and asks them if she could purchase their tickets because they have a performance in Venice to get to.

Little did Tigress realize that she purchased her tickets from Jesse Chambers and Rick Tyler. This gives Jesse and Rick an advantage to be ahead of the villains. Jesse searched all the agent's terminals at the airport but she couldn't find a Peter Blue which means he is using an alias. Jesse uses her speed force ability to take her and Rick to Venice before the plane lands. Both heroes arrive in Venice in a flash and Jesse wants to wait for the villains when they arrive on their flight while she suggests that Rick scope out Blue's intended hotel reservation at the Magnifico.

Icicle recalls Blue's ticket reservation at the airport as well as his seat placement on the flight. Icicle interrogates Blue by icing the starboard wing of the plane. The pilot of the Cosmopolitan airplane calls the watchtower and asks for a weather update on their way to Marco Polo International because one of the wings has iced over. Icicle threatens to ice the other side of the plane unless Blue hands over the book. Blue explains that he doesn't have the book. A courier has the book and is taking the journal to his employer whom he had never met in person. Icicle expresses his frustration and disappointment.

Icicle attempts to kill Blue for wasting his time but Blue offers to get the book back for a price. Icicle grabs Blue and tells him that Blue's fee will be his continued existence and quite possibly Grunstrasse's payment if Blue delivers. Icicle puts a calling card in Blue's hands and returns to his original seat. Jesse tells Rick that the flight has landed and she watches as the two villains follow a man intensely.

Jesse figures that this man is Peter Blue so she calls Rick to give him a detailed description of Blue because they want bring in Blue for questioning. As for Jesse, she gets in between the villains and Blue. Her distraction aggravates Tigress and forces Icicle to assault her. Tigress calls out to the police in Italian and says Jesse is hurting her husband. The police pull their guns on Jesse and order her to stand down.
