Synopsis for "Constellations, Part Three: Stellar Collapse"

In Carthage Maine, Johnny Sorrow orders the Wizard to begin a summoning incantation after painting pentagram on the ground with Killer Wasp's blood. Despite his warnings toward Sorrow, Wizard begins the incantation with Killer Wasp's heart in his hand. As the pentagram glowed, Johnny completed the ceremony by stabbing Killer Wasp's heart. The King of Tears begins to appear but Sorrow intends to make the demon his slave rather welcoming him as his master.

Sandy Hawkins arrives at JSA headquarters and relays his dream to the team. Power Girl remembers the last time the JSA fought the King of Tears, it was the Spectre who finally banished the demon. Power Girl apologizes for not keeping more contact but Sandy doesn't take it to heart because he asked the JSA for space ever since he inherited Wesley Dodd's dream vision. Rick asks Sandy to accompany them when they take down Sorrow since Sandy knows Johnny better than most. Power Girl tells the team that the issue with Magog will have to wait. Sandy and Stargirl hug each other but Sandy also wanted to confide in her about something he couldn't tell the others. Sorrow's proclamation of love toward Stargirl isn't exactly what everyone thinks.

The JSA head toward the location in Sandy's dream. King Chimera's ego gets the better of him when he decides to take on Sorrow with his illusions. Sorrow removes his mask causes Chimera to fall back in terror. As Chimera screams with his eyes bleeding out, Sorrow laughs by saying it takes an ephemera to know another's tricks. Citizen Steel and Wildcat take on Icicle as well as Tigress. Tigress toys with Wildcat by calling him Tomcat which Bronson doesn't seem to mind. Sorrow confronts Sandy because it was the Sandman who made Sorrow intangible.

Sandy had accidentally destroyed Sorrow's subspace prototype which could reel Johnny from the Subtle Realms. Fortunately, Sandy's filtered lenses on his mask prevent Sorrow from inflicting his killer stare. Sandy tells Sorrow that he is unrepentant narcissist who blames everyone else but himself. Sorrow laughs because what he's doing right now is an extension of Sorrow's hatred for himself. Geomancer expresses his disappointment of fighting Hourman rather than Sandy because the two of them have a long standing rivalry.

The King of Tears finally emerges from the portal. As Stargirl looks at the demon with horror, Shiv pulls a gun on Stargirl and just as she was about to pull the trigger, Sorrow orders her to halt. Sorrow tells Stargirl that he commands the King of Tears and if she comes with him, he will command the King of Tears to return to the Subtle Realms. Stargirl refuses Sorrow's offer and Sorrow tells Courtney that if he can't have her then he will order the King of Tears to kill him, her then the world. Stargirl reluctantly submits to Sorrow's request but he orders Courtney to demonstrate her love for him by breaking the Cosmic Rod.

After breaking the Cosmic Rod, Courtney accepts Sorrow's hand and they teleport. Naturally, Sorrow didn't keep his end of the bargain and leaves his comrades as well as the JSA to contend with the rampaging King of Tears. Stargirl arrives in the Subtle Realms without Sorrow. Courtney cries out to Sorrow to show himself but then four skeletal beasts appear out of nowhere and attack her. A voice from the distance shouts at the beasts to break off their assault. Courtney turns and she sees Atom Smasher who isn't exactly happy to see her.

Synopsis for "The Inheritance, Part Three: Let's Make a Deal!"

The airport police hold Icicle and Jesse Chambers at gunpoint. Jesse acts fast by using her Speed Force to transport her and Icicle to a more secure location. Icicle tells Jesse that he is willing to cooperate if she grabs Tigress before the authorities arrest her with their semi autos. Jesse agrees and grabs Tigress but Artemis puts up a fight with Jesse because she refuses to share her intel with members of the JSA. Icicle puts up a barrier between them and tries to reason with the girls. The fight between Jesse and Tigress ends when Jesse gets a page from Rick Tyler. Jesse dashes off to meet Rick at Peter's hotel.

Meanwhile, Blue delivers the cleric's diary to his father Boris Hayes but Boris is angry with Peter. Boris is upset that Peter got members of the JSA and the Injustice Society involved. However, Boris thinks he can turn a positive into a negative. Boris tells Peter to trash his hotel room and make it look like someone was looking for the diary. Boris tears up one half of the diary and leaves it for either party to find. Boris is counting on JSA team members to decipher the cleric's clues to finding out where the Tachophixyl is.

Hourman and Liberty Belle arrive at Peter's hotel room. They find the torn half of the diary and head downstairs to the lobby to figure out their next move. Unfortunately, Icicle and Tigress arrive on the scene. Tigress and Liberty Belle get into another fight. The fight between them causes Liberty Belle to fall off of a bridge. Icicle rescues Liberty Belle by freezing a part of the river and traps Jesse's feet in ice so that he can talk some sense into her as well as Hourman.

Icicle explains that Grunstrasse was a fence and they really did intend to buy the cleric's diary from Blue before it could get sold. Their reason for wanting the diary is because inside the diary's pages is a map to the Tachophixyl. If they acquire the artifact for their secret but interested party then they will be set up with enough money to retire. Hourman makes a proposal for both Icicle and Tigress. If Tigress and Icicle arrange a meeting with Blue then the JSA will arrest Blue for murder while at the same time, turn a blind eye when the villains collect their fee for retrieving the artifact. Jesse can't understand why Rick is making a deal with the villains but Rick doesn't intend to hold up his part of the bargain after Blue is apprehended.
