Synopsis for "Ghost in the Castle"
The battle with the Gentleman Ghost reaches a head at an English castle: if the Ghost can kill the Justice Society, then he will return to life. Thunderbolt briefly restrained the villain but he is too powerful in the Tower of the Dead in his homeland. Wildcat is shocked that he can also harm the ghost but the battle is short and he dematerializes again.
In the JSA Headquarters, Mister Terrific discovers that Wildcat actually has noble lineage but just as he does, a horde of ghosts attacks the building. Only Stargirl seems immune to the spectres and Ma Hunkel theorizes it is because the young heroine is a virgin. She flies off to the UK to help her teammates as their battle continues with a small army of ghosts routing the JSA. King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table come to their aid and Wildcat manages to defeat the Ghost by decapitating him with a sword. All of the ghosts haunting the Society disappear and the heroes begin rebuilding.
