Jack Abel (b. July 15, 1927 – d.March 6, 1996) was a comic book artist.
Professional History
Jack Abel was a professional comic book inker and illustrator. He worked for DC Comics during the 60's on several war titles before starting his contribution to the Superhero genre. His most notable work was on the titles Superman and Superboy. In the 70's, Abel moved to Marvel Comics and worked on some of their most notable titles and in the mid-70's he worked for both companies simultaneoulsy. From the 80s until his retirement, he worked mostly for Marvel.
