In the mid-1930s, Jack Andrews was a student athlete, who once encountered some organized criminals.

Jack Andrews was playing football, when a stranger tried to bribe him into throwing the game. He refused and the game was sabotaged against him, but Jack still managed to win.[2]

Later, while he was ski-jumping, the same stranger tried to murder him twice. The second time, the stranger spared his life, and advised him to return to school.[3] He took the stranger's advice and returned to Dover Academy.[4] But the stranger and his mysterious employer were not done with Jack, and they used his school rival Terry Sheehan to set him up a trap.[1]

  • This version of Jack Andrews, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–1986 crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the 2022-2023 crossover event Dark Crisis. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
