Synopsis for "Fire & Ice"

Orion flies to New Genesis' south pole in search of Valkyra but can only find her castle in ruins. Suddenly, the rubble comes to life and becomes a giant monster that traps Orion in its grasp. The creature is in fact a weapon from the Old Gods, preserved for millennia under the ice and reactivated after the recent cataclysms. Orion notices similarities between the monster's and Valkyra's fighting styles, so he gets inside the giant, where he finds Valkyra in trance. With the help of his Mother Box, Orion frees Valkyra, and the two lovers kiss after their reunion.

Meanwhile, in Supertown, Scott regrets taking Highfather's mantle and, after discussing it with Barda, decides to return to Earth with Barda and pass the Highfather role on to Takion.
