Jack Knight is the son of Ted Knight, who reluctantly took up his father's mantle as the new Starman after his brother's death. He uses the Cosmic Staff, a device created by his father, as his main weapon. The staff has control over gravity, allowing him to fly and shoot energy bolts. He later became a member of the Justice Society of America. He is also the son of Adele Knight, the brother of David Knight, and the father of Kyle Knight. Jack Knight was created by James Robinson and Tony Harris, first appearing in Zero Hour: Crisis in Time #1 (1994).
