Jack Knight was Starman, continuing the legacy of his father Ted Knight in Opal City and as a member of the Justice Society of America. He has since retired, gifting the Cosmic Staff to Stargirl.

- Jack Knight was created by James Robinson and Tony Harris, first appearing in Zero Hour: Crisis in Time #1. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Jack Knight first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Mister Miracle (Volume 4) #11 by Tom King and Mitch Gerads.
