Jackson Hyde, also known as Aqualad, was a resident of Atlantis who became Batman's appointed ambassador for the oceans in his restoration efforts following the fall of Superman's regime.
History
While Batman and his team went after Ra's al Ghul to retrieve the children he kidnapped, Batman assigned Aqualad and Steel to guard the new president as he was sworn into office. However, Aqualad betrayed the heroes, revealing that he was actually an agent of the League of Assassins, and caused a tsunami to hit Washington, D.C., killing the president elect and everyone in attendance.

- Hydrokinesis: Aqualad can manipulate bodies of water and he could create a tsunami by using the water in front of the Washington Monument.[1]

- Aqualad (Jackson Hyde) was created by Greg Weisman, Brandon Vietti, and Phil Bourassa, first appearing in Brightest Day #4. However, the Injustice version of Aqualad (Jackson Hyde) first appeared in Injustice 2 #5 by Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo.
