Jacqueline Pemberton is Gimmix, niece of Golden Age superhero Merry, Girl of 1000 Gimmicks.
History
Fadeaway accidentally freed her from her Bag of Trix.[1] After she died on a superhero mission against something dark, she found the bag had changed and somehow saved her life. One of her gimmicks gave her a prophecy of the Blood Scarab and she warned Blue Beetle.[2] After that she became an occasional ally and even took a job working at Jaime's aunts' diner.[3]

- Gimmix was created by Grant Morrison and J.H. Williams III, first appearing in Seven Soldiers of Victory #0. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Gimmix first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Blue Beetle: Graduation Day #6 by Josh Trujillo and Adrián Gutiérrez.
