It was a different time, and I was in a different place. I was looking at everything that I had worked for going down the drain, and then... The doctor told me about a couple who were desperate to have a child of their own, and... I saw it as an opportunity to give you a loving home. The two million was supposed to go to the family to ensure that you would want for nothing. All those years, I thought you were being cared for by loving parents, but... It was only when you found me that I realized that the doctor had kept the money for himself and dropped you off at a fire station.
