- Manhattan Guardian was created by Grant Morrison and Cameron Stewart, first appearing in Seven Soldiers: Manhattan Guardian #1. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Manhattan Guardian first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Sideways #8 by Dan DiDio, Max Raynor, and Trevor Scott.
