James Corrigan III is a detective in the Metropolis Police Department. He goes by his nickname Trey to distinguish himself from the other Jim Corrigan.
History
Trey picked up Dave Diamond's active caseload after Diamond was assassinated.[1] One of those cases involved Jimmy Olsen, who was promptly murdered. The case got weirder when the corpse turned out to be a Jimmy Olsen Assassination Decoy. He ended up working with minor villain Porcadillo when the latter confessed to knowing who put the contract out on Jimmy's life.[2] Eventually, Corrigan was able to trace the hit back to Jimmy's brother Julian and arrest him.[3]
Notes
- James Corrigan was created by John Albano and Jose Delbo, first appearing in Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen #149. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, James Corrigan first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen (Volume 2) #6 by Matt Fraction and Steve Lieber.
