Jeb Stuart is a U.S. Army soldier active during World War II who lead the Haunted Tank combat unit. The spirit of his ancestor, Civil War veteran General J.E.B. Stuart of the Confederacy, haunted their M3 Stuart tank and helped them in battle. Jeb Stuart was created by Robert Kanigher and Russ Heath, first appearing in G.I. Combat #87. (1961)
