White Star was an enemy of Green Lantern.
History
"Cowboy Jim" Jonas was a rodeo star who fashioned a double identity as a cowboy-styled hero called White Star. He was really a criminal, and used his supposed status as a hero to trick Green Lantern into joining him at locations where Lantern would use his ring to breech high-security buildings, supposedly so they could catch criminals in the act, but in truth so White Star's gang could get inside the buildings and rob them.
Notes
- This version of White Star, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022–2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
