James Olsen (Celebration)

History

James Olsen started working in the Daily Planet as a cub photographer at an early age. In the beginning of his career he befriended co-workers Clark Kent and Lois Lane and became Superman's pal. After a while, Jimmy began taking on riskier assignments, earning the "Mr. Action" moniker.

Eventually, Jimmy got married to Lois' sister Lucy and succeeded Perry White as Daily Planet's Editor-In-Chief. Ironically, Jimmy hates being called "Chief" the way his predecessor did.

• This version of Jimmy Olsen, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths limited series.
