Jimmy Olsen was a young man working for the subversive Daily Planet newspaper, whose offices were eventually destroyed.
History
He worked alongside Lois Lane and Peregrine White. They published material against the planet's supreme dictator, the Warlock Royal, a Kryptonian tyrant. This group also formed a clandestine rebellion against the Warlock, and one of their own agents was his descendant Kal-El. Kal's heroic sacrifice to get inside of the royal palace and maintain a private audience with the Warlock convinced him to leave the planet forever, although in the process Kal was shot in the head and killed. Olsen lived to see his planet liberated from oppression.[1]

- This character has several speaking lines and he is clearly intended to be Jimmy Olsen, although he is never actually named as such in the comic.
