However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and no longer apply.
Doctor Weerd has not actually appeared in a post-Crisis story, but he was mentioned in Secret Origins (Volume 2) #9.
