Jan Duursema (b. October 27th, 1954) is a writer.
Professional History
Jan Duursema is professional comic book artist and illustrator, best known for her work with her husband, Tom Mandrake. Duursema started working in the late 70s, for different publishers. She started working for DC Comics in 1980 on the title Sgt. Rock and later worked on other war and horror titles such as Unexpected, Weird War Tales, Warlord. Later, she also worked on superhero titles such as Batman, Wonder Woman and others. In the 90s she worked for Marvel Comics and most recently she has been working for Dark Horse Comics and Dynamite Entertainment.
Personal History
Duursema attended the Kubert School, where she met her husband, comic book artist Tom Mandrake. The couple have two children, Jack Moses and Sian.
