Jarik Shadder was a member of the Science Police.
History
Jarik was a disgraced cop after he shot down a space cruiser that had been hijacked by terrorists so they could not crash it into a building. Jarik sacrificed the dozens of lives in the cruiser to save the hundreds in the terminal dome. Jarik was reviled by the public but was not fired. From then on Jarik became sullen and withdrawn and refused to take any initiative at work or do anything unless explicitly ordered to do so. He did not get along with fellow officer Omar Magz.
Jarik redeemed himself when he uncovered a conspiracy by Mr. Vyke who was sabotaging his competitors companies.
