Jason Bard is a highly skilled criminologist and private detective in Gotham City. In addition to brilliant deductive powers, he has great martial arts prowess despite having been crippled in the Vietnam War. Batman has employed him to work as an ally to the Batman Family on stipend. Jason Bard was created by Frank Robbins, first appearing in Detective Comics #392. (1969)
