Jay Garrick was the first Flash, a member of the Justice Society of America.
History
A freak lab accident gave Jay Garrick super-speed. He became the Flash, and was active in the 40s and 50s.[2] He became a member of the Justice Society, and eventually retired.[3] In 2020, he returned to active hero career and joined the Justice League.[4]

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the television series Young Justice and its tie-in comic book series. It is an adaptation of Jay Garrick/Flash. The original character was created by Gardner Fox and Harry Lampert and first appeared in Flash Comics #1.
- Jay Garrick was voiced by Geoff Pierson.
