Jason Todd, also known as Red Hood, is a vigilante and member of the Batman Family.

Jay as Robin

Jay as Robin

Jason was the second Robin, adopted by Bruce Wayne as a boy. As Robin his flippant self assured smart mouthed ways annoyed some of his allies, like Renee Montoya.[1] Joker beat him with a crowbar [2] and was later killed and then brought back to life with the involvement of a Lazarus Pit.[3]

Jason avoids having to go to galas as a Wayne by loudly engaging other attendees in hypothetical discussions about what they would do if a "very bad man" brutally murdered their children. This ensures that Bruce no longer bothers to try to get him to come to fancy society functions.[4] Jay also goes out of his way to steal equipment from Batman's safe-houses for his work as Red Hood even though Bruce gives him gadgets for his costumed crime-fighting, just to mess with his father.[5] He has a competitive nature that occasionally gets the better of him.[6][7][8] However, he also had a soft corner for kids on the streets because he had been in their situation before and knew what it was like.
