- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the film The Flash and is an adaptation of Jay Garrick. The original character was created by Gardner Fox and Harry Lampert and first appeared in Flash Comics #1.
- Despite hailing from the unnamed universe of the Adventures of Superman show, Jay Garrick only made a cameo in the DC Extended Universe movie, The Flash.
- The Flash editor Jason Ballantine provided the face for Garrick.[2][3]
