Powers and Abilities

Powers

• Unique Physiology: Jeannette is a banshee.
  • Death Wail
  • Decelerated Aging: Jeannette has been alive for at least two houndred years as she once told the Secret Six that she visited Metropolis in 1794.
  • Resurrection: Jeannette was killed by beheading, but being a banshee she was able to return to life.
  • Superhuman Durability: Jeannette can take blows from super strong opponents with limited damage.
  • Superhuman Strength: As a Banshee Jeannette has greater strength than a human. She has displayed enough raw strength to hurt Big Shot and hurl him against a wall with enough force to crack it with the power of her blows. During her fight against Plastic Man she puched him so hard that he was thrown through a solid brick wall.
  • Precognition: As a Banshee Jeannette can smell death and can get vague impressions of when people are going to die.

Abilities

• Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced): Jeannette is a skilled fighter, able to gain the upper hand in a fight against Big Shot despite his advantage in size.
• Occultism: Jeannette has profound knowledge of the supernatural.

• Jeannette was created by Gail Simone and Nicola Scott, first appearing in Secret Six (Volume 3) #3. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Jeannette first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Secret Six (Volume 4) #4 by Gail Simone and Ken Lashley.
