History
Jeannie was supposedly the wife of the man who would eventually become the Joker. In what was revealed in the movie, the Joker was a comedian who was trying to support Jeannie while she was pregnant with his child in a dilapidated apartment building. Although she was disappointed that her husband couldn't get the performance gig he was trying to get, she still cared for him nonetheless. While her husband was secretly talking with some criminals about pulling a heist on the Ace Chemical Factory with him being disguised as the Red Hood, she died in a freak accident involving an electrical appliance, the news of which made the comedian so sad that he tried and failed to talk himself out of joining the heist that would lead to his becoming the Joker.
