Jeff Sloane was Zatanna's manager for a while.
History
He was also romantically interested in her, but she made it clear they were just good friends.[1]
In his early days as Zatanna's manager, Sloane helped her work on her stunt performances and also joined her in some of her mystical adventures.[2] During these cases, he was often victim of evil spells,[3] but was always saved by Zatanna.[4][5]
After a brief hiatus, Zatanna returned to show business and Sloane resumed his role as her manager. Sloane continued falling deeper in love with her; but was unable to express his true feelings. Sloane continued to support Zatanna as a close friend.[6]

- Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
