So yeah, there was this time I fixed up one of his hideouts. 'Cuz that's what I do. It was some abandoned toy factory. So I doll it up real nice. Trap doors, remote control killer robots… You know... The works. Only to find he had planted bombs to blow up the building with me in it. Clowns suck!

The Carpenter is an enemy of Batman who uses her carpentry skills to make lairs and death traps for his enemies.
History
Jenna Duffy became a member of the Wonderland Gang, Mad Hatter's first criminal organisation, operating as the "Carpenter". At some point she left the gang and went into legitimate business with carpentry as her trade[1] named J.D. Carpentry, located at Gotham North in 340 Main Avenue.[2] The Carpenter was told by Batman to leave Gotham City,[3] because of Hugo Strange's plan to put all supervillains in Arkham City. She fled Gotham City by bus, but unknowingly she was being watch on monitor screen by Strange.[4]
However, her old Wonderland Gang ratted the Carpenter out, giving Strange the tools to have her captured by TYGER and incarcerated in Arkham City. There she was located by her old gang and Mad Hatter used one of his mind-control chips to force her to work for him again. When Batman broke up the Wonderland Gang in Arkham City, he freed the Carpenter, who elected to hire herself out to the various supervillains in the city, using her skills as a carpenter to repair and fortify their lairs.[5]
Shortly afterward, Two-Face gave the Carpenter a place on his jury to convict the Joker of his responsibility for the creation of Arkham City. She helped Two-Face's 'court' convict Joker of the charges because after doing a job for him in one of his hideouts, the Joker had placed bombs in it and planned to blow it up with her still inside. In the fight after the trial ended, the Carpenter threw Two-Face's gavel at the back of Mad Hatter's head, avenging Hatter's earlier kidnapping of her.[6]
The Carpenter would go on to start another business named called Jenna's Furniture on Miagani Island.[7]
