Jade is the daughter of Alan Scott who took up the mantle of Green Lantern after Kyle Rayner.

History

Due to her natural-born ability, she has all the powers of a Green Lantern without needing a ring. She and her brother Obsidian joined Batman's team. They infiltrate Lex Luthor's Mankind Liberation Front and once they discover that Luthor is brainwashing Captain Marvel, they attack and incarcerate the MLF members.

Jade participated in the Gulag battle in which she saved herself, her father, and some other heroes from the U.N. nuclear bombing.

• According to character supplement in Kingdom Come / Revelations it was assumed that the rift between Jade, Obsidian and Alan Scott was caused by Alan's reclaiming the remaining power ring, adding its power to his agenda and not to the Guardians' will.
