Jennifer Pierce, aka Lightning, is one of Black Lightning's two daughters and a former member of the Justice Society of America.[1]

Powers and Abilities
Powers
- Electrokinesis: Jennifer has inherited from her father the ability to manipulate electricity.[2]
- Energy Absorption: Lighting can absorb ambient electricity to generate an electrical aura around herself.[1]
- Transformation: Through this ability Jennifer can basically become living electricity, making her more powerful than her father.[1]
- Electro-Blast: Jennifer can project the electricity she generates in powerful blasts of electrical energy.[2]
- Flight: In her electrical form Jennifer gains the ability to fly.[1]
- Energy Absorption: Lighting can absorb ambient electricity to generate an electrical aura around herself.[1]
Notes
- Lightning was created by Mark Waid and Alex Ross, first appearing in Kingdom Come #1. However, Lightning first appeared as part of Prime Earth continuity in Black Lightning: Cold Dead Hands #4 by Tony Isabella and Clayton Henry.
