Mera stepped in when Randy got too aggressive while hitting on Jennifer, even making moves on Mera. Things escalated when Mera broke his arm and the police were called. Jennifer later met Mera at the Curry Lighthouse and apologized for the town's overreaction to the situation with dog food and treats for Salty. She has been called on to care for the dog when Aquaman and Mera are unable to watch him.
