Jesse Reese is a detective in the Gotham City Police Department and an ally of Huntress.

History

He was born Jesse Hawke, the son of mob boss Al Hawke.

He had a good life growing up and loved to borrow his father's car. However, when he was sixteen he took the car and was pulled over. They began searching the car and found blood in the trunk. They went to arrest him only to stop when they read his last name on his license.

The cop sped off and that event sparked Jesse Reese into existence. He was always searching for justice. Part of him is searching to get justice for his father's victim.

He joined the Gotham City Police Department, and his search for justice brought him into contact with Huntress. In the beginning he was very skeptical, even attempting to arrest her, but he eventually learned to trust her.
