Jim Calafiore is an American comic book creator and professional illustrator. He began his career on the comic book industry in 1989 working for Caliber Press on the title Progeny. Later on he worked for small publishers like Valiant Comics. His first published work for DC Comics was in 1995 in the title Aquaman. The same year he was hired by Marvel Comics and debuted on the title Force Works and he would keep working simultaneously for both companies on some of their most iconic titles.

Most recently, Calafiore worked for DC on the title Red Lanterns.
