Joan was a circus performer who was tricked into helping trap Wonder Woman.

History

Joan and her sister Inez were tricked by Prof. Jenkel into tricking Wonder Woman into a trap. The twins were each told to try out for a film by pretending to be Wonder Woman, with Joan "admitting" her identity to Wonder Woman's known friend Diana Prince while Inez carried out staged stunts as Wonder Woman in public. Joan even went so far as to try and convince Steve Trevor she was Wondy, and convinced him to kiss her, but the kiss only convinced him that she was a fake as he'd suspected.
