Joe Shuster (b. July 10th, 1914 – d.July 30th, 1992) was a comic book artist best known as the co-creator of Superman.

Joseph Shuster (July 10th, 1914 - July 30th 1992) was a Canadian comic strip artist for National Periodical Publications (later known as DC Comics). Along with his lifelong friend, Jerry Siegel, Joe co-created what is arguably the most famous pop-culture icon of all time - Superman. Inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 1992 and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1993 along with Jerry Siegel.
