Professional History
John Floyd is a professional illustrator and comic book artist. He began his career in 1991 working for Continuity Comics on the title Armor. He later began working for DC Comics in 1993 in the title Green Lantern: Mosaic. Later he worked in a few issues of Batman and Detective Comics before moving to Batman: Gotham Knights.
Floyd has also worked in the film industry as a storyboard artist and has been featured in films such as Hellraiser III and most recently he has storyboarded a TV commercial and did production ink art for Django Unchained #6
Personal History
Floyd went to study art at North Carolina School of the Arts, East Carolina University, University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and graduated from The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in New Jersey.
