John Fitzgerald Kennedy was the 35th President of the United States. This made him an influential political figure during the Silver Age. Despite popularity, he was assassinated two years into his term by Lee Harvey Oswald. His predecessor was Dwight D. Eisenhower and his successor was Lyndon B. Johnson.
